Why a composite base
Choosing between PPF and PET means choosing which problem matters more. Hybrid removes that choice: a composite film base supplies the give that absorbs impact, and the hard coating above it supplies the surface that survives wipers.
The trade-off shows up in the numbers as a middle position — thicker than PET, thinner than PPF, with abrasion resistance below 1% haze rather than PET's 0.2%. What it gains is reinforced adhesion above 450 gf/inch and flexibility for complex windshield curvature.
Resistance is verified across the full ISO battery: chemical to ISO 2812, thermal to ISO 16750-4, humidity to ASTM D 2247, and UV exposure to ASTM G154.
