The screen is the most touched surface in the car

Infotainment displays now run the climate, the navigation and half the vehicle settings, which means fingers are on them constantly. They scratch, they smear, and on a sunlit road they mirror the sky straight back at the driver.

SkyPlex ScreenProtector answers all three. An anti-fingerprint (AF) coating keeps oils from bonding so a cloth clears the screen in one pass. An anti-glare (AG) layer on the matte version scatters reflection instead of returning it. The composite base takes the scratching.

Adhesion is deliberately low — below 5 gf/inch — because the film has to come off a delicate display without stressing it. Application is dry: no water, no squeegee, no risk near electronics.

Matte or glossy

Same construction, two finishes for two different complaints.

01 Anti-glare

Matte version

For sunlit cabins and reflective dashboards.

Haze is raised deliberately to 30–50% so reflections scatter rather than mirror. Gloss stays below 20 GU at 60°. The choice where the screen faces up or the roof is glass.

  • Haze 30–50% for glare control
  • Gloss 60° below 20 GU
  • Softer touch feel

02 Crystal clear

Glossy version

For colour depth and maximum sharpness.

Haze below 1%, so the display keeps its contrast and colour saturation exactly as the manufacturer intended. The choice for shaded cabins and premium interiors.

  • Haze below 1%
  • No loss of colour depth
  • Matches OEM screen finish

ScreenProtector questions

Does it fit any screen?

Yes. The material is optimised for precise cutting on automatic PPF plotters, so each pattern is cut for the specific display.

Wet or dry application?

Dry. The film has excellent wetting properties against the display surface, so it lays down bubble-free without liquid — which matters when the substrate is electronics.

Will removal damage the screen?

Peel adhesion is kept below 5 gf/inch precisely so it lifts off without stressing the display or leaving residue.

Matte or glossy for a customer who complains about glare?

Matte. Its 30–50% haze is what scatters the reflection; glossy keeps the reflection but preserves colour depth.
